After earning his JD from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1991, Jim practiced at Plunkett Cooney for twenty years in the areas of insurance coverage litigation and interstate trucking claims. He has successfully represented clients in multi-million-dollar claims arising across the United States and Canada, including Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah, Wisconsin, and Ontario, Canada.
When not practicing law, Jim enjoys running and triathlons, having participated in six ironman competitions and thirty marathons. He lives in Tecumseh, Ontario, with his wife Maureen and three children, Aidan, Jaimes, and Charlie.
