Thomas was born and raised in Bay County, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1993 in the top 25% of his class. He attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law on the Jerome P. Cavanaugh full tuition scholarship. Thomas graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1998 in the top 10% of his class. Thomas has practiced law in over a dozen counties in Metro Detroit, Mid-Michigan and Northern Michigan. He has tried cases before juries for 25 years in criminal, probate, abuse/neglect and civil cases. He is an experienced attorney dedicated to securing the best possible outcome for his clients. Thomas’ favorite part of the job is speaking with his clients. He has a wife, son and daughter. He spends his free time in the outdoors either gardening or hunting with his prized chocolate lab.
